YLG Server Terms of Service and Privacy Policy Agreement

Part I: Acceptance and Scope of Agreement

This Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement") is a complete agreement between you and the YLG Server Administration Team (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "the Administration Team") regarding the use of this server, and applies to all users who access, apply for, join, or use the YLG Server in any way. The YLG Server is a non-commercial, non-profit multiplayer gaming community built on the Mojang Studios Minecraft game environment, dedicated to providing long-term, stable survival gameplay and a player interaction platform.

By submitting a whitelist application, entering the server, or using any server-related feature, you acknowledge that you have fully read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms of this Agreement. If you are under the age of full civil capacity as defined by local law, you should read and accept this Agreement in the presence and with the consent of a guardian. If you do not agree to any part of this Agreement, please immediately stop applying and cease using all services of this server.

Part II: Nature of Service and Operational Description

This server is a non-commercial community voluntarily organized by players and maintained by the Administration Team. Its purpose is to provide a Minecraft survival game environment, establish a community interaction space, maintain a long-term stable game ecosystem, and offer basic technical support and management services. This Agreement does not constitute, nor should it be interpreted as, any form of commercial service contract. No obligation for paid services arises between you and us as a result of using this server.

In terms of service content, the server may provide features including survival gameplay, map exploration and terrain generation, preservation of player builds and creative content, community interaction functions, basic administration and security systems, and player behavior records and data analysis necessary for maintaining order. To ensure the long-term operation and ecological balance of the server, we reserve the right to adjust, modify, suspend, or terminate part or all of the service content at any time based on operational needs, including but not limited to modifying game rules and mechanics, resetting maps or data for certain areas, adjusting server versions or plugins, adding or removing functional modules, and even terminating server operation (including permanent shutdown). Without compromising service security, we will make reasonable efforts to announce significant changes that may materially affect player experience in advance, either on the server or within the community.

Part III: User Eligibility and Whitelist Policy

This server implements a whitelist review system. All users must be approved by the Administration Team before entering the server. We reserve the right to reject applications from users with poor behavioral records, false application information, misalignment with the server's community positioning, or those deemed unsuitable by the Administration Team's comprehensive assessment, without providing specific reasons for each case.

When applying, you must ensure that all information submitted is true and valid. You may not falsify your identity or impersonate others, repeatedly register or maliciously submit applications, or use scripts or other automated methods to apply. Upon discovery of any such violation, we have the right to reject the relevant application and, depending on the severity, permanently ban the relevant account from joining.

Part 4: User Conduct Standards

To maintain a fair and friendly gaming environment, you must abide by the following conduct rules while using this server. In terms of gameplay, you may not use any hacks, cheat clients, or modders, exploit program vulnerabilities or BUGs to gain unfair advantages, damage other players' buildings or resources, engage in theft, deception, or malicious trading, or interfere with the normal order of the server in any way.

In terms of social interaction and speech, you may not post abusive, hateful, or discriminatory content, maliciously spam or disrupt chat order, make personal attacks or threats against other users, spread false information, or incite hostility between players. We particularly emphasize fair play principles, prohibiting the use of any programs or tools that affect fairness, exploiting mechanic loopholes to repeatedly obtain resources, exploiting information or privilege advantages from administrative status, and any form of resource duplication.

In response to behaviors that violate the above rules, we may take corresponding measures depending on the severity of the case, including but not limited to warnings, temporary mutes, temporary bans, permanent bans, whitelist removal, and rollbacks of affected data. The choice of measures is at the reasonable discretion of the management team based on the specific circumstances.

Part 5: Administrative Authority and Enforcement Mechanisms

The management team is responsible for maintaining server order and holds corresponding administrative authority, including determining and handling violations, interpreting server rules, performing technical operations such as rollbacks and repairs, and mediating player disputes. When determining violations, the management team may comprehensively consider game logs, server data monitoring, on-site observation records, player reports, and provided evidence to make a comprehensive judgment.

If you have objections to the handling results, you may contact the management team through the contact information specified in this agreement to explain and appeal. We will reasonably review the appeal, but filing an appeal does not necessarily lead to a change in the handling results. Within a reasonable scope, this agreement and all server rules are interpreted by the management team; if a dispute arises over interpretation, both parties shall resolve it through friendly consultation in the spirit of goodwill and equality.

Part 6: Privacy Policy (Collection, Use, and Protection of Data)

To provide and maintain services, we may collect the following data: your Minecraft username (ID), information submitted during whitelist application, login logs (such as IP address, login time, etc.), gameplay data (such as block destruction and placement, transaction records, etc.), and in-game chat logs when strictly necessary. The above data is used only for purposes directly related to the service, such as whitelist review, security and anti-cheating, violation investigation, server ecosystem analysis, and technical maintenance and optimization. We will not use it for purposes beyond the above scope.

Whitelist applications may also record submission IP, submission time, browser fingerprint summary, hashed device Cookie identifiers, and request logs, strictly to prevent duplicate applications, automated abuse, security audits, and handling appeals. The above security identifiers will not be used for advertising profiling or purposes unrelated to the whitelist.

In terms of data protection, we will take reasonable technical and administrative measures to ensure data security, including tiered access control for administrative permissions, retaining necessary logs and audit mechanisms, and restricting data access to only those within the management team who genuinely need it. We will not sell or trade user data, nor use it for any commercial purpose; we only use relevant data when necessary for internal server management. Whitelist review results will be sent to the email address you verified during registration. To complete email delivery, the necessary recipient address and email content may be processed by entrusted email service providers in accordance with our instructions. Please note that no technical measure can guarantee absolute security. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data breaches caused by force majeure or circumstances not attributable to our fault.

Data storage and your rights: the above data is generally retained for the period necessary to achieve the collection purposes. After the relevant period expires, we will delete or anonymize the data; if laws or regulations require otherwise, those requirements shall prevail. You have the right to inquire about and correct information related to you, or request deletion of your personal data, through the contact information specified in this agreement. Without affecting security audits, violation investigations, and legal obligations, we will process your reasonable requests.

About minors: this server is open to players of a wide range of ages, and we place great importance on protecting minors' personal information. If you are a minor, please use this server and submit personal information with the consent and guidance of a guardian. For younger applicants, the management team may require the guardian to confirm consent through the contact information stated in announcements, or require supplementary guardian authorization information. We process minors' information only to the extent necessary to provide services. If guardians have any questions about the handling of minors' information or wish to exercise rights such as inquiry, correction, or deletion, they may contact us through the contact information specified in this agreement.

Part 7: Disclaimer

This server is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, data will be permanently preserved, the game world will remain unchanged indefinitely, or network connections will always be stable. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any game data loss caused by technical failures, rollbacks, resets, or other circumstances not due to our intent or gross negligence, nor for any resulting losses. You understand and agree that virtual assets such as buildings and items in the game have no real-world monetary value, and you bear all risks associated with gameplay.

We are not liable in principle for transaction disputes, resource conflicts, verbal altercations, or other personal grudges or social behaviors between players, and we only intervene to mediate when strictly necessary. In addition, service interruptions or losses caused by force majeure or objective reasons such as server failures, cyber attacks, equipment damage, natural disasters, or upstream service outages are also outside our liability.

Part 8: Donations and Support (Mojang EULA Compliance Statement)

This server strictly complies with the Mojang End User License Agreement (EULA) and does not provide any form of paid gameplay advantages. All donations are completely voluntary, and the funds are used solely to cover server operating costs (such as hosting, domain names, maintenance, etc.), without constituting consideration for purchasing any service or product.

To ensure fair gameplay, donations cannot be used to obtain any combat advantages, resource generation advantages, administrative privileges, or other privileges that may undermine fairness. Since donations are voluntary support and funds are immediately used for operating costs, donations are considered final upon completion and are not refundable in principle; however, if laws or regulations have mandatory provisions otherwise, those provisions shall prevail.

Part 9: Amendment of Agreement and Termination of Service

We have the right to amend this agreement at any time as needed for operations. The amended agreement will be announced on the server or in the community, and takes effect on the date of announcement or the date specified in the announcement. After the announcement, your continued use of the server's services constitutes acceptance of the amended agreement; if you do not agree with the amendments, you should stop using the relevant services. We also have the right to terminate all or part of the services at any time. For significant terminations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify in advance.

Part 10: Miscellaneous Provisions

This agreement constitutes the complete understanding between you and the YLG server regarding the use of the server's services. If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall continue to be effective. Disputes related to this agreement shall first be resolved through friendly consultation in the spirit of goodwill.

Subject to applicable law, this agreement is interpreted by the management team of the YLG server within a reasonable scope.
